Everyone's life changes when they have a child. Doesn't matter your age. I'm 23 years old and work a full time job. Guess what. My life changed.

Of course your life will change... And so will you. Any normal person already knows that. No reason to judge... Youre legally an adult.

she was obviously venting! hun, i know how you feel... i was told even thou i am married and have been for a year i am too young, at 20 i shouldn't be a mother... and at 3 months by my mother-in-law to get an abortion, i could just have another kid... i understand you completely... everyone just wants to have a input to tell you "your stupid and your gonna regret it" or "stop complaining"... if you know what you are up against and you love your baby with everything and a good mother to the best of your ability it doesn't matter and if you ever wanna talk, i am here because writing on here always gets negative feed back instead of help and concerns like it is meant for  

thats cute...just because your a homebody doesn't mean a damn thing..your life isn't going to change..it's ending..you will no longer be "you" you'll be someones mother, someones full and main provider....some people handle it better..or pull off handling it better but all the work you're doing now will not compare to the job that is ahead of you..and other teen moms aren't looking down on you, they're just giving you the pity that people gave to them when they didn't understand why...

Children effect a hell of alot more than going out and spending money.

I was like OP. i was 18. I did school online. I thought it would be cake, I never went out, never drank, etc. I was home alone all the time, bored and depressed. I hated it. I couldn't wait to go to work and get out.

Have you thought about PPD? Realize that having a baby isn't just a physical thing?

its extremely obnoxious when now everyone feels they have the right to hang over you and dangle the worries over your head. i hated that too.

Congrats! I had my Matthew at 18 ( hes 4 now) and due with my second in November, have fun with motherhood its a blast! =3

Your life will change though. Whether you are 40 or 16, a partier or not, jobless or employed, single or married. Having a child changes your life, no matter who you are.

Life always changes. It will change when you have your child. If you ever have another it will change again. If life didn't change for one reason or another even if it wasn't because of a child it would not be worth living.
I do understand what you mean though. But only time will tell how you react.

Lol. I had my children when I was 20 and 22. My life changed each time. Before I became a mom, I didn't do anything the normal 20 year old does, like party, spend money, etc. and I still went through a hell of a life changing, eye opening experience. I'm literally not the same person I was before I had kids.

I agree fully I was almost 25 when I had my 1st my husband and I had been together for 4 years and married for 18 months at the time and our lives changed when Harry was born nothing is going to prepare you for what it's going to be like having your own baby but the learning curve is sure worth it.
