im 18 first baby and would love to talk to other teen moms due around my due date

Why not talk to all moms, why define yourself as a teen mom. Why can't you just be a mom and want to talk to other moms.

im 20 and due in march with my first, its so scary and exciting too, not a teen mum as such, but still young xx

i am and i do im part of the 2013 may topic but there are a few things i wold like to ask other teens going through what i am like juggling school and having to deal with parents and other things like that. a lot of time older married woman cant relate to that stuff.

Her experience is going to be different than a 30 year old who has been married for ten years. I completely understand the desire to speak to like-aged individuals.

Maybe she feels more comfortable talking to younger mom's who are in the same situation. When I was pregnant at 16 I felt a lot more comfortable talking to people in the same situation and who could relate.

Just because i am young does not mean that i am irresponsible i may have made an irresponsible decision but i work full time have my own place and am putting myself through college. i know that i am taking every neccesarry step to giving my child the best life possible.

I get wanting to talk to people your own age or going through a similar situation I just dont see why people feel the need to define "teen mom" "young mom" "older mom" we are all moms. Even someone who isnt a mother in their teens could offer good advice on how to deal with parents or just parenting advice in general.

yes i couldnt agree more about that which is why i am also part of the may 2013 thread and i speak to all age mothers on that thread and get advice and support however i also started this one so i could get a different younger outlook

Lol yes, we're ALL moms. But she is still a teen mom, who is looking to talk to other teen moms who can relate to her.
