Is it normal for a 2mo old to not laugh or coo yet??

He smiles really big sometimes, but no laughs or giggles and he doesn't coo yet either.. Just cries when something is wrong then just sits and stares.

Yup. Babies develop at different rates. It'll come soon enough  

Every child is different....And no it is not abnormal for him to do that (at the age he is, seeing his sight is not developed good yet).... give him time...you can start to worry if he is like 6mo and still doing it...best wishes and good luck

Lol I was wondering the same thing. DD is 9 weeks old and only coos. Smiles HUGE all the time and looks like she'll burst into a giggle any second....buuut doesn't. Lol

What i mean by the above post is because if baby cant see good yet then he has nothing to smile or coo at. so give baby time.
