early labor.
Relax and wait! I would sleep, take a walk, shower and get the things you need around. Personally I would probably be cleaning like a mad woman, lol
Wait it out and keep timing them. I would try to labor at home as long as possible.

There is nothing for you to do until your contractions become regularly timetable and constant. You aren't in labor yet. It's just your body preparing. You aren't supposed to go into L & D until your contractions are around 5 minutes apart consistently. My best friend had contractions for like 2-3 weeks before she ever went into labor for real.

they were consistently at 5 minutes apart for two na half hours, but i waited it off because they werent hurting.

i never felt any braxton hicks contractions nor have i really had anything PAIN wise in my pregnancy(thank jesus) so i asked the doc what a contraction would feel like and she said a balling up tigthening feeling and thats exactly what these are. i had one in her office and made her feel my beely to make sure i knew what it felt like and she said thats exactly what they are....well i dont feel them unless i touch my belly. but today i have een actually feeling my belly tighten up, so i guess that means they are getting stronger, correct?

You'll definitely know when they're real contractions. If you can only feel the tightening and there's no real pain, then they're probably just BH contractions. I had tons of those. I always thought "OMG i'm in early labor." No. When I really went into labor, I knew. Those contractions are painful. Completely would take my breath away and it hurt in any position I was in. Sitting, standing, in a ball, I was in pain.

No. Real contractions are your belly tightening up accompanied by pain. My first signs of labor felt like period cramps in my back (back labor) and then intensified as they became regular and consistent.

What you are describing sounds like BH contractions which isn't labor. I'm only 29 weeks and I have started to have BH contractions on occasion throughout my day, like when I have to pee or bend over to pick something up. I've had them for a few weeks now and the same with my first pregnancy. You will know when you are in true labor haha, trust me!

I have had contractions for about a week now 1-2 mins apart! hang in there once they get to where they start to get really uncomfortable or take ur breath away i would go to the doc.. every one is different tho with my daughter I had contractions that didnt hurt at all Just my belly would tighten... I listened to a few girls saying they are not real... but once they became regular I went into the L&D and sure enough I was in full blown labor and had her a few hrs later.... so hun go with ur heart and gut if u feel the need to go I would.. hang in there your almost to the end!!!!

Yeah if you're not in pain its not real labor. I've had contractions with pain for like 2 weeks now on and off sometimes the whole day (like today" but I don't go in because the intensity of pain doesn't go being a certain point......just wait till they get really strong, with pain.
