2nd time csections

posted 1st Oct
So I am just wondering, and preparing, for my 2nd csection.

Its all scheduled for the 29th of this month !!!! AHHHHH lol

I was just wondering how it went for other moms. With my first I was up and walking the next day - and the pain was not TERRIBLE!!! I think it was a lot of adreniline from having a new baby and just being excited.

How was it the 2nd time around? Worse - better - the same. I know its different for everyone but any advice is welcome =)

Also, did anyone go into labor before their scheduled csection? I've seen that happen to someone & they were in SOOO much pain after. I was wondering if that was from laboring and then having a csection.

TIA

I went into labor the day of my C-section and it was fine, I had an early one luckily.

It was more exciting since I was more with it during his birth, but the recovery was a little worse (my kids are only 21 months apart) because of the scar tissue etc. It was easier, in a way, because I knew what to expect.

I was up and walking the same day. I can't stand being bed ridden. Pain wasn't bad either. I'm gearing up for my 3rd on the 31st of this month and I'm not nervous about recovery at all.

I have had three c-sections and going to have a fourth. My first and third were the easiest. The only reason my second was bad was because of the stupid epidural. They put it in wrong and I had horrible headaches. The healing of my belly was the same with each one. Sore but not horrible. I dont take pain medication and I didn't with any of them except for the headaches everything was fine! Good luck!!

my kids will be almost 19 months apart. how much worse are we talking? lol like a 3 on a scale of 1-10? I was up and walking a few hours after my daughter and I was able to shower, pick up the room ( idk why i was doing that) and just wanted to go the hell home!

I was also like that after my first.
I needed the pain meds more after my second, it was harder to get up and out of bed. But, I still got up when they took the cath out and showered the next morning, I just moved slower and was more tender.. I also had a lot of incontinence, which I never had with my first.

if i think about it - im pretty sure i was taking the pain meds every chance i could lol!!

but I stopped when I got home - and was totally fine!! the initial getting up off the bed was slightly painful but then once i got moving it was over.

I am just afraid i might go into labor and then might have to get an emergency c section !!
