Ouch!!! (Question)

SoOo, I'm 3.5wks pp. Most of my "after birth symptoms" have gone away. I had 3rd degree tears from front to back and over 100 stitches. The tears are pretty much painless at this point, and I've stopped bleeding...but I am left with a pretty painful side effect. This is a little TMI, but it literally feels like someone kicked me in the crotch with a giant boot. That is the best way I can describe it. It's a dull pressure like ache that is at the top of my crotch and around my clitoris. It so bad, that I have to put an ice pack on it some evenings. It gets worse if I laugh too hard, or use the bathroom. Does anyone know what this is? Is it normal for it to be so painful at almost a month pp?

i would say yes because you just had a baby rip out of your vagina, lol. and over a 100 stitches, i would say its probably from that...

lol Yea, it was a lot.

Only thing is, it's not coming from where the stitches are, it doesn't feel like skin irritation, feels more like pressure coming from the inside.

i havent had my baby yet so i'm not a ton of help but my friends who have had their babies say it pretty smurffy for a while, if it keep bothering you go to the doctor.

You have to consider the fact that you usually have pretty severe bruising on the inside also, and that can include some organs.. Your pelvis will start closing back up too, and though for some women it can take over a year, for some it can happen over the course of just a couple months, so your bones might be trying to realign and reharden before your pelvic floor is fully ready. With everything that has to heal itself, and different things healing at different paces, its hard to say exactly what it is, but probably nothing that some pain pills wouldn't help  

Yes it normal for it to be this painful.
