Thank you :)

My poor baby girl has a fever. I cannot for the life of me find the thermometer. I have two but one I have never used and it's not working! I can't get one until tomorrow but I can tell that she's hot. I put a cool washcloth on her head, gave her some Ibuprofen and some ice water. What should I do?

Just keep her comfy and hydrated and search for the thermometer. Check her in about an hour and see if it feels like its coming down.

My DD had a fever the other night. Just keep an eye on her and push fluids. If she feels too warm for too long I would figure out how to get her temp taken.

I even woke DH up, we have been searching for about an hour straight. I think it got misplaced when we moved

Little to no clothing. Light weight if you must. Tepid bath. If you have acetaminophen you can alternate that and the ibuprofen. If she's acting fine though I wouldn't freak too much. Just keep a watchful eye...look for changes in her behavior like if she gets really lethargic.

She's 3. She acting sleepy but then again, I did wake her up because I checked on her and she was hot. She is doing fine with the water. She started feeling warm at about 7 tonight so I gave her a bath and some Motrin right before she went to bed at about 10. I checked on her and just gave her some more about 20 minutes ago.

Thank you   She has a full sized bed so I think I'm probably going to sleep with her. She says she's cold.

take her in if you feel like you should.

if it were my child.. as long as she's acting ok, sleeping ok, I'd just keep her comfortable, keep fluids at the bedside, and give motrin/tylenol to keep temp down until morning.

((hugs)) hope she feels better soon. : (
