Stroller Nazi's help me choose

posted 30th Sep
Help me pick the best stroller.

I've always wanted a bassinet stroller and since this is our last, I figured I'd go big! I've looked at double strollers and the only one I'm absolutely in love with is the Bugaboo Donkey Stroller, but let's face it $1200 for a stroller is a little out of budget.

We have a 3 yr old now but will be 2 mths shy of 4 when this one is due.

So help me choose

**Pictures are at radom. Colors will be chosen at time of anatomy scan**
The First Years - Wave

Hauck Malibu

Uppababy Vista

Or Kolcraft Contours Double

I am not a stroller Nazi so my opinion may not be valid but I like the first one BUT if I were you I would go to the store and try them out.

Any opinion is welcome. I just know there are some nazi's out here that know way more then I do about strollers.

I really wanted the wave but the place we tried to order from stopped selling it, so we ended up with an uppababy Cruz. I like uppababys 2 year warranty.
Do you need a double stroller? And I know nothing about the 2nd one. Have you watched baby gizmos reviews on YouTube! I find them really well done.

I know it sounds silly, I'm aware of that, but the first one looks professional. I can imagine the little Addams baby with his moostash and suit, doing business from that stroller

I looked at the Contour when I was pg with #2 (was due 3 months after DS turned 3). I knew we wouldn't get the use out of it since DS would outgrow it quickly and it's huge folded up IMO.

I wouldn't say "Nazi"...but I'm definitely an addict. Out of those, UppaBaby!

A Donkey wouldn't suit you with an almost 4yo. Something like the Cameleon or Bee + [one of my personal FAVES] and a wheeled board would be the best option. UppaBaby offers a wheeled board, which would be a nice addition to the Vista. Since your 3+yo will probably be too big for the jump seat!

We don't need a double stroller, but I like having options just in case.

No I haven't watched the reviews, but the first 3 seem to be highly ranked.

Wow that's a whole bunch of  . Dumb it down for me cause I'm leaning towards the UppaBaby after researching them more.

LOL I was just saying that I think a nice stroller with a wheeled board would suit your needs better than a big bulky double! It's definitely do able with the UppaBaby. They have the 'piggy back' board...

I'm not a huge fan of UppaBaby. Personally, I feel like they are a Bugaboo knock-off and they are pretty wide. But, out of the strollers you posted & especially for the price...I'd go with the UppaBaby & I'd be happy with it.

This is our Bugaboo Bee + w/the wheeled board. Our son used one of these when he was barely 3yo with our other Bugaboo's and Lambie used this one at 4yo...

I have a chameleon, and as far as how it rolls I love it! The infant carrier attachment is awesome too, was well worth the $ simple for the easy of the infant attachment. My chameleon is almost 4 years old now (wow time flies) my complaints are that it is not the easiest to get in and out of the car, takes practice to comfortably be able to open and close it, and there is barely any under storage, the little canvas bag sucks! Other than that, I am excited to use again! Plus I will be purchasing the ride along board for my daughter to use.
