didn't know where to put this;

but my doctor has told me i'm having a threatened miscarriage. i went to the ER with light bleeding a few days ago and after having an ultrasound and blood work they came back and said they didn't see any sign of pregnancy in the ultrasound and my hcg levels were at 1100. well the doctor said there were two possibilities:

1: Early pregnancy
2: Miscarriage

I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
My bleeding has almost completely stopped now and i had my second round of bloodwork done Friday and tomorrow is my third, then on Thrusday we find out if my levels are rising or lowering. I just wanted to seek anyone who had bleeding in their first trimester and things were fine?

I had a threatened miscarriage with my 2 month old daughter.
Everything turned out fine.
Relax and think positive!

how far are you? depending on that, it can be normal not to see anything in an U/S.

well the thing is by lmp i would have been 9.5 weeks, but i didnt get a BFP until i was like 2 weeks late so i think i O'd late. i just have this intuition telling me otherwise, i feel like the doctors are wrong but everyone is telling me that the doctors know best. i just feel like i should be bleeding more or cramping at least. idk. i guess the levels will only tell me but i just know some woman bleed in pregnancy and its totally normal.

I had bleeding and cramping around 7 weeks and I'm still pregnant, 20 weeks later.

Oh. At 9.5 weeks, they should be able to see something. Maybe your due date is just way off.

At 10 weeks your hcg should be higher then 1000.
Maybe you just Od later then you think.
Are they going to do hcg checks for you?

i think i O'd later than i was supposed to because i have irregular periods anyway. so im hoping.

I was told the same thing last weekend but they were able to find the baby on US ( I'm 7 weeks). I had heavy bleeding and cramping but the bleeding went on for days it just slowed and changed from red to brown. My doc just said to rest and take it easy.

doctors do NOT always know best lol. based off those hCG levels, you'd be about 5 wks, which it's not unusual to not see anything then. it is very possible to have o'd late. I know I did for a fact.

yes they did one on friday and one again tomorrow, and i get results thursday.

Fingers crossed for you. I've had my fair share of miscarriages, and they suck.

see my bleeding is doing the same! i only bled lightly and now its stopping from red to brown! that's why i have hope.

Have your levels changed since Friday?
