HAHA Yup, been there. I have a couple designated for that purpose.

The BEST way to prevent stains is to rinse your pads after use in COLD water! I personally don't do this. I just fold them up, and toss them in my dirty clothes hamper and wash with my regular laundry; and I don't have stains on my cloth.
You can also find products like Biokleen's Bac Out spray. This is an all natural enzyme cleaner that REALLY works to get stains out! I used to use it on my DDs cloth diapers and never had any issues! <3
Bleach is not recommended for the following reasons:
  1. Bleach is hard on the fabric and can deteriorate the area around the snap.
  2. Chlorine bleach is an extremely harmful chemical - both to our bodies and the environment. An oxygen-based bleach is a better alternative.

Fabric Softener is not recommended for the following reasons:
  1. Fabric softener is generally a collection of perfume and chemicals -- which you probably don't want polluting the environment, much less that part of your body!
  2. Using fabric softener actually makes your cloth less absorbent.

What kind of fabric touches your skin? I've heard of these, but never used one.

The outside fabric is a cotton print, and the inside is 100% cotton flannel, and there is a hidden layer of PUL on the inside to make them waterproof.

on your more heavy flow days, how long do these pads last?

Mine isn't like SUPER heavy, but they last about the same as a reg pad, 4ish hours. I've never had a leak. I like to wear the panty liners usually and I'll wear them with a tampon too to prevent leaks because they're way more comfy than a sticky disposable panty liner. They are a bit bulky but the smaller ones work perfect for me and a just way more comfortable. I wear the "regular" ones at night.

They sound comfy. I'm not sure I can order any ATM... Do you sell them regularly?

I do!   When I start to run low, I make a bunch more. I usually make a dozen or so of each size at a time.

Awesome! If I didn't like tampons so much I would so do this! I just can't stand the feeling of the wet pad down there   They look really good though.

See, the beauty of switching to cloth is that you never feel wet or funky down there... The cotton fabrics soak up the moisture, and spread it throughout the inner core. So all you feel is the soft cotton against your skin. When you DO feel some wetness after a few hours, that is your cue to change the pad, because it is full.
