38 weeks and losing patience everyday LOL

I am 38 weeks today and am getting so impatient to see my baby girl! I have my weekly appointment tomorrow thank goodness, but I am sooooo hoping when my doctor checks me he will send me upstairs ready to go! Lol it is so exciting. I've been cramping on and off all day since about midnight or so, so hoping that means I am making more preogress. Last week I was 1-2 cm and 60% effaced and everyone says it takes the longest to efface then dilate. Idk if that's true though. And I went from being 10-20% to 60% effaced in a week so we will see. Still working on putting together my daughter's baby book that I am completely making myself. And need to get her room decorations up, but other than that the nursery is done.

I think you are losing patience because if you are losing patients everyday that's a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen! Hang in there, it'll be over before you know it!

i was 80% effaced and it took 4 days to induce me..lol. DOnt expect too much. just enjoy this time by yourself while you can...

Yea I plan on having an au natural birth really hoping I won't need an induction, but I have heard lots of first time mommies go over due
