Quoting Brianna Eldridge-Cotteril:" I have other names picked out, these were just two that I put together that had something to do with mother and my brother."
I must have missed where you said your mother. And what exactly is your brothers name?

That's really sad to be fair, we didn't know it was his name until you explained a little more. If you like it, then use it! It's special to you.

Hell I'm new at this, and it just sounded pretty to me, I mean come on, I lost most my family and its just complicated."</blockquote>
What other names do you like?
Something's to consider when naming your baby.
-your child will be an adult for far longer than they will be a child. Plenty of names are great for little kids but are very silly on adults. Gracelynn is an example.
-employers will see the name before ever meeting your child, reading their resume etc. names are the first impression, often employers throw out resumes solely based on a persons name.
- no one wants to constantly spell/pronounce their name
Please ignore my horrid grammar, I'm nursing and too lazy to fix it.

I love names that come from family members.

I'm not sure it sorta depends on if its a boy or girl.
Here's the other names.
Girls:
Ava
Grace
Abigail
August/Augusta
Blaise
Raine/Rayne
Adalynn
Blakesley
Jaylynn
Boys:
Aiden
Brody
Ryland
Kane
Tyson
Draven
Not sure with middle names, but I wanted to use clay with the middle name.

Augusta is a great name.
Ava and Abigail aren't bad, though very popular and kind of overdone.

I really like Ava, grace, Abigail (Abi for nn!) and adalyn. What about Mae for a middle name? Ava grace sounds nice also.
For boys I liked Brody and Tyson, those are great, especially with Clay. What about Daniel, Dean, James or using clay or Clayton as the first name? Just some ideas

nobody is saying smurf about your brother though, it's the name only.

www.behindthename.com is awesome. It will tell you if it's a male or female name by origin, popularity if it's in the top 1000, meaning and so on. It's the holy grail of baby names

Thank ya, my husband doesn't have time to come up with anything or look, so I'm doing it all right now.

I like Abigail and Grace for the girl names.
For boy names I like Cain and Draven.
I also like the suggestion Clayton, it's one of my favorite boy names
