re: Halloween is evil

Who gives a f what people think, they're just weird:p Halloween is my fav holiday i just love it

We dress up and get candy too, and we also deck the house out all spooky and have a Halloween party and bonfire. Halloween is a big deal at our house, LOL.

We celebrate ON halloween, but not halloween as such.
A - Aussies dont really celebrate halloween
B - Its DDs birthday on halloween so thats our excuse to dress up!

I would LOVE to be able to take DD to the states for halloween. It looks so fun!

But horror stuff is fake. I'm dressing up as a zombie housewife this year, but that doesn't mean that zombies are real or that I believe in them.

We used to have a Halloween party every year until we moved! It's also my mom's FAVORITE holiday. She's literally like "smurf Chrismas"   I already have a few lights up around the windows. I can't wait to deck it out more. Even though my apt is a bit small, I'll make something work. I already have DD's costume too

I guess some people don't celebrate because of their own religion..like Jehovah's Witnesses who can't really celebrate anything.

lol pagans use to dress up like monsters to chase away bad spirits.

I still need to get DD's costume, but we've already started decorating the house.

I'm not saying that at all. Like I said, I do celebrate it

However, if someone didn't, I could sort of understand. Zombies are not real, but there are LOTS of Halloween things that are based around killers and things like that. Some people see that sort of thing as evil, so "celebrating" is and other dark things is wrong. I'm not saying it *IS* I am just saying the reason other people don't always celebrate it. They find that it's a celebration of evil things basically. *shrugs*

We dress up, and we have no problem with it, but I've known a few people from church who don't agree with it.

Halloween is my favorite holiday!
My SO's family used to hand out Christianity pamphlets until their house got egged.

I like halloween, mainly for the fact of seeing all the cute little kiddies in their costumes
