you can get pregnant while you are on your period. and it is VERY rare for a false positive you would have to have done the test wrong to make it come up as a positive, you could be reading it wrong, or if you are taking certain medications, but thats it.. I just had my first baby on Dec. 12, 2012 thats 9 months ago. i am preggers again with baby number two! I too thought i was getting a false positive, but no. i would schedual a doctors appt. asap!

it could be leftover. i was told by the pregnancy test company that i called that it could be leftover hormones up to 9 weeks. so, it's possible, i'm just not sure how probable. the only way to know for sure is a blood test. good luck to you.

I was bfing with my first born 4 16 10 no periods or nothing was trying to get an iud but on 4 17 11 baby number two arrived and moved to okc with my husband was using condoms felt like crap went got a pg test expecting baby 3 in about 6 weeks its now just me taking care of them hes in okc and im in cali but its not that hard and its motivated me to get thru school quickly for them they are happy and hyper and I wouldnt change whats happened for anything .... P.s. Unless you very recently had a baby like probably 6 to 9 weeks ago nothing will give you a false positive pregnancy test our bodies only produce that hormone with pregnancy but think strong do what is best for all involved

Thanks girl. My son is currently 8 weeks and 3 days old so I'm praying it's leftover from that. I am loving motherhood but I am terrified of potentially having children less than a year apart. Good to know that it can be done. But I have absolutely no idea what to do, or if I am truly pregnant even.

So you're in my boat   I had my first 4/11/10 and my second 5/5/11 Luckily I got my IUD right after my second was born  
Oh and your babies birthdays are literally days away from mine. I'm 4/15/92.
