Thre's not really anything you can give a 7 month old. Try to elevate her mattress with a pillow so the mucus drains from her head and get a humidifier.

Take them in and tell them that they have been around someone with steep and aren't feeling good

But if it turns out to be strep throat will they give her antibiotics?

It un common for her to get it because she still has the immuneity from u. My doctor told me most of the time they wont get it till they are older then 1. Just take her to the dr or urgent care ur SO needs to be seen so u dont get it.

Ahh I wish I could keep my baby in a bubble so she could never get sick until shes's old enough to understand whats going on, at least  

if she possibly has strep i'd take her to the doctor ...don't you need antibiotics for something like that?

I would get her tested for Strep just in case. She may not has the white throat

Im a medical assistant at a peds office. I would take her in... if there is a chance she has strep then there are other complications that can arise, like scarlet fever, which can be very dangerous for infants. Keep an eye on her temp and keep her hydrated.

They will either give her longer treatment or you could possibly ask for the shot so you don't have to give her the longer treatment. But I am not sure at what age they will give the shot

id bring her in or atleast call to make sure it isnt whooping cough. it doesnt always sound like a whoop if their that young.
