If the house is in both of your names then one of you will probably have to buy the other out.

i got a divorce in NC. we had just bought our house with his VA loan. We agreed to letting him keep the house, and just took my name off everything. If yall can't agree it will be split because it is community property. either one of you would have to buy the other one out, or you would have to sell the house and split the profits. same with the cars that are in both of yalls names. it is easiest if yall can agree to everything. we agreed for me to take the car and him to take the truck. we also agree to split our credit card balance in half.
