how long do you have to be with someone, or what would you think the relationship would need to entail to call them your SO

On here he'd probably just be called SO from the start. IRL, I wouldn't really call him my SO until after we moved in together.

i never called him my SO only on BG but in life he was my boyfriend for 2 years and husband for 1 year and half.

It goes in this order for me..

Seeing someone
Boyfriend
SO - Once we are engaged, regardless of how long we may have been living together previously.

I would say when you live together, when you list him as your emergency contact at work, things like that.
