Maggie is my nieces name. She's 11 now and that's all anyone calls her, teachers, friends, family. No one even knows who Magen is when we call her by her real name lol

I like Elizabeth Sue that was suggested in the thread. I'm not a big fan of the ones listed in the poll.

I think its nice you're carrying on the Sue tradition. My mom, sister and niece all have the same middle name: Jane.

I dunno what's up with me lately and the whole carrying on traditions, lol. I never wanted to pass on Sue, at least not while my grandmother was alive... but I guess once she passed and I realized my LO will know nothing about her, it'd be nice to at least carry on her name. Joseph is also SO's middle name, lol.


And yeah... I like Elizabeth and Margaret so far. I'm still hoping for a boy first   Nothing is popping out to me like Vincent did.

Elizabeth is my name! Lots of nickname possiblities with Elizabeth. I go by Liz most of the time but when I want to sound fancy I say Elizabeth hehe. My hubby's has an Aunt Lizzie and she is really sweet. All your names were cute I just thought Margaret Sue *Maggie Sue sounded really cute out of your list. Reminded me of a Rod Stewart song from the 70s lol. My grandma passed away last year too and we want to honor her by trying to pass on her name some how Rosezella May. It changes things when someone you love had that name makes it feel more special. My mom and I have the same middle name Michelle.

Totally biased because my next daughter I wanted to name Allie Sue in memory of grandmother, Allie and my Aunt Sue who passed away in a car accident.
I think it's a beautiful name, classic and feminine.

Can the middle name be elongated into Susanne?

And I like the idea of the middle name having significance. I hate random "filler" middle names. Bri has my stepdads middle name since he's terminally ill. Im so glad we used it.

I like all of your choices, but Margaret is the best IMO. I also like Dorothea "Dottie" Sue, or Matilda "Tilly" Sue.

I like victoria. Pretty classy.  

I chose Victoria...but I like Margaret "Maggie", too.
I think it flows better with the last name.

I hate the name Sue d/t bad association, but I think Lydia Sue has the best flow.

It's just a middle name. No one really worries about middle names. My Mom's and my middle name is Ann so my daughter got that middle name. Dated? Extremely. Do I care? Not at all. It's a middle name.

Next child's middle name will be James/Jamie. Hubby's father and his middle name is James and again we'll follow suit.

BTW: Voted Maggie. I think that name is so cute and goes well with Sue.
