My little sister was down to far in the canal to do a c-section so my poor mom had to have her that way:/

My son was facing up and it was really easy but he was 8 weeks early...I hated the eidurals with a passion. My back is still screwed up and I was forced into them. The one I got with my daughter didn't even work. My mom had the needle break off in her back with my brother so she didn't get one with me. I would never ever get one again unless my baby or I would die without it or something. Some people swear by them though. It's kinda one of those things you can't know for sure until it comes down to it.
Neither of my labors were painful until they gave me the epidural though...

Labor with my DS was hell and the Epidural actually helped me progress from a 7 to 10 in an hour.

It does help, sometimes.  

OP, I would call your Dr.'s office and ask.

My mom had my little brother like that and he got stuck and from her pushing so hard she broke his little nose  and she said it hurt wrost then having the baby facing down. and that would really suck about the needle breaking in her back!!

My daughter tried to come out that way & my dr had to turn her. It hurt pretty bad! My epi stopped Working after a while, my nurse talked me into getting it too soon. She said it didn't run out, "that only happens in movies" WRONG!

The thought of a needle of any sort in my hoo hoo makes me cringe let alone that giant one they use. I feel faint just thinking about a needle breaking off in my...........

Most OP babies will roll over once your water breaks.
