Well I also dont like labeling but I hate being considered a "teen mom". I had my dd when I was 3 days from turning 20. I was out of h.s for 2 yrs. went to college. Had my own place. Worked full time. It was just dumb for me to be labeled a teen mom. But really the only time it has come in handy is getting my dd into preschool haha:p

I say younger then 18...but I consider myseld an old mom lol..

While I do agree on the statement "a mom is a mom", this is more being more specific. I have never ever called myself a "teen mom". I was either pregnant or caring for a newborn my entire 16th year of life. I literally paid rent, bought a car, paid for my gas, worked full time and had to use Medicaid and wic to squeak by. I graduated on time. This girl was a mooch until 19, and apparently is too into herself. It struck that certain cord in me

Thats not what she meant. She said didnt consider HERSELF a teen mom. Never said others wer/weren't.

lol understandable, it's been a long day.

and like i said, i don't label anybody anything. i just think that 16yo and under should not be allowed to reproduce, period. it's not about being a 'teen' mom. there are many other factors involved.
