I'm selfish so I would say no just because I wouldn't want to share custody if nothing was in place

i felt like tht for a very long time but now nothing, i am not angry at him, i am sad for him that he truly doesn't know what he is missing by not being in her life

Let me ask you this. Does he know how to get a hold of you? Does he know where you live? Your Facebook? Email? Phone number? If he does then NO don't call him. He's had the chance to be there and if he hasn't made the effort then he's not even worth it. Only reason I'd be calling is to let him know I'm coming after him for child support.

i agree but he has mental issues (depression,anxiety, has tried to kill himself before) and i have a feeling he doesn't have the confidence in himself to be a parent even though he was a good father when he was in her life. does that make sense?

Yeah, but I would think that would be more of a reason not to let him around her? I don't know. I have depression and bipolar issues as well, but I take medicines every day for mine to keep myself regulated and sane for my child. I would personally be too afraid to call, but maybe he's waiting on you to extend the offer for him to see her? Just be 100% sure it's what you want.

yeah but he wouldn't just pop up at my house and he hasn't been on fb in months and months becuse he doesn't have a computer and idk if he has my number, he might but could just be afraid to call me since he was out of her life for so long, if i was out of my childs life for that long idk what i would even say to the mother of my child. he might think i hate him or something, lst time i saw him he was scared i was going to hit him even though i wasn't
