So nervous!

I'm due tomorrow and it doesn't really seem like my lil one is coming on her own. I'm being induced Monday and I'm terrified! This is my first baby and I keep hearing that induced labor is more painful and I can't sleep or think about anything else but labor and after she gets here. Will I be able to breastfeed properly (all women in my family have been unable to), will I be a good mommy, will I be sick during labor (I have severe hyperemesis)? Ugh I'm so nervous and needed go vent thanks for reading!

I was induced. I honestly looooved labor & delivery. Contractions are a bitch, but thats to be expected. Other than that I had a very smooth (but LONG) labor! Good Luck!!

I think its normal to have all those thoughts and feelings. I mean it is scary...you have no idea what you're getting into until you go through it...But I'm sure you will do everything that is good for you and baby  

I was induced with my first and it wasnt bad at l. I only labored for 5 hours and the pain wasnt as bad as I thought. I got the epi when I was 6 cm dialated then a hour later my daughter was born! Good luck!!

I was induced with both of mine, so I'm not sure if labor was bad because of that, but you will find what works for you to get through it. Both of my labors were short, also. First was under 8 hours, second was under 6. Always sped up after the epidural also. Some people like to walk or squat on a medicine ball, some like the tub or shower. I like the drugs lol. I got nauseous through both of my labors, so I got medicine in my IV for that, but until they got that, I had DH blow air in my face. Poor guy almost passed out a few times, but as long as he was doing it, I felt better. I never really got mad or cursed him out at all, but he also knew to just do as I said to keep me complacent lol. It sucks, but you will definitely find something that works for you.
