If you had a c-section...

And your SO/hubby watched, how did he do? SO was a hot mess watching LO be born vaginally, I'm not sure how he'd handle watching me have a c-section. I'm being induced at 39 weeks because of GD and PIH and I'm trying to figure out what to do with SO if I end up needing a c-section. (REALLY REALLY hoping I don't though.)

Mine only looked beyond the curtain for a few seconds and said it made his head buzz lol.

They are supposed to stay up by you so most of the time they can't see much.

Dh sais he was fine until he was walking over to our dd to cut her cord, he turned and said he saw me all open. lol he didnt' faint or puke but he said almost.

He just stayed with me. He would have died if he saw anything. He was already as white as a ghost lol

He was fine  

He watched EVERYTHING ... even things I asked him not to, like inserting/taking out my cervical catheter  

mine only watched as they were pulling him out.. and he did fine. said it was super gross but he was just excited to see his son being born

He was fine and he is VERY sqeuamish. He didn't look over the curtain though lol

Mine almost saw while he was walking over to see DS but he remembered not to turn! He said that holding my hand was weird because he could feel me jerking around while they were pulling and pushing things in and out.


A few months after he got curious and we watched a video on YouTube and he was like "was that all? I could have watched!" But I think they missed a few things out of the video because it seemed quite tame  

He only got a peek, because they made him sit. DH is not squeamish either. I kinda wish I could have watched. They let me watch my colposcopy, and biopsy.

SO wants to cut her cord, he nearly passed out cutting LO's. I'm afraid he'll hit the floor.

DH said that it was cool seeing my insides on the outside... He paid more attention to me being gutted than anything else LOL

He watched everything. He didn't say much about it, other than how crazy it is that they cut you open and yank a baby out. So I guess he did well.  

Mine saw it all, and thought it was awesome. He even made jokes about seeing my bladder. Haha.

He was fine and thought it was cool that he got to see my organs and stuff.
