How did he/she act after the new baby arrived?

I am wondering how my 3 1/2 yr old is going to respond to having the new addition at home. I will make sure he always feels involved and let him help, but he is so used to being the ONLY one. I've heard some children have a really hard time though. Any stories?

My son was 22 months when his sister came he hit kicked and bit her couldn't leave them alone. Now they are 6 and 8 with new baby my son helps my daughters in a nobody loves me phase

SO's two sons (at the time aged 2 and   fell in love with Logan at first sight.

The oldest is absolutely wonderful with LO, and the now 3-year-old calls his little brother "My Logan".

I'm sure it will! Get him really involved with the pregnancy, and prepare him for the arrival. Make him feel like a part of everything.

I have 3 boys (4,2,11months)
When i brought home ds2, my oldest son giggled on the whole car ride home. He was thrilled when we brought ds2 home. I didn't have any issues with them adjusting to each other. With ds 3, ds2 didn't have any issues with the baby. ds2 doesn't pay much attention to ds3 to be honest unless they want the same toy. Ds2 doesn't get jealous though either.

Ds1 was extremely jealous of ds3. He wasn't angry at my youngest exactly,but he was seriously PO'd about my attention being split up between them. It took him about 3 months to adjust and it was a rough 3 months. It did eventually get better. We survived.  

There will probably be an adjustment period, it's normal.
