fever??

posted 23rd May
just wondering what the cut off is for how high a pregnant woman's temperature can be?

i dont think i have too much of a fever but i do "feel a little warm" according to hubby. im pretty sure i have sinus infection and have felt like CRAP all day... we dont have a working adult thermometer anymore so we were going to go buy one, but even after we use it and read it, i wasnt sure how high was too high? dr's office is closed already so if we did anything, it would be go to the ER and i dont want to do that if my temp. isnt high enough to constitute an ER visit, ya know... i foundinfo about how high is too high for a baby and stuff but not for mommy while pregnant, so any help would be great ... thanks girls

i believe it's 102

*edited to add* 102 is the temp where things start going wrong...

i had a fever earlier in my pregnancy and they wanted me to go in becasue i was also having lower back pain (the fever made me achey). they basically just want to hear the heartbeat of the baby, and make sure everything is going okay... and it's fine to take tylenol to reduce the fever as well

My doctor told me 100.4. I'm sure every doc has their own preference.

thanks so much girls

*UPDATE*
im still feeling like crap, but i ended up calling L&D and they said if i had 100.3 then i should come in right away - and i only ended up having a 99.8 so i've just been taking tylenol when i feel esp crappy and taking my temp at least once a day. i knew i couldnt have MUCH of a fever, being pregnant, but i wouldnt have thoughtthe cut offwould have been so low.i was thinking more along the linesof 101 or something like some of you!!- im glad i called and checked - esp since i did have a slight fever!
