Homeopathic cold meds

I have the Hyland's brand. I was just wondering if when you give it to your children does it energize them or have an effect like that? Benadryl knocks my son out so I can only give it to him before bed/nap, but I gave him the homeopathic kind an hour ago when he was very cranky and yawning, then we ate lunch and I just laid him down and he's wide awake and obviously feeling a bit better. If I would have given him the benadryl to dry up his nose he would be asleep by now. Just wondering how other kids react to the homeopathic stuff.

I just let him get up, he's bouncing off the walls, lol. At least his nose has cleared up..

Mine doesn't get sleepy or anything with the homeopathic stuff. Benedryl makes him bounce off the walls, though.
