Dh was an oops baby his dad is older then my grandparents they don't love him at all. They even will say they didn't mean to have him he has been on his own since he was 14. Totally sad.

My dad always said you can't feed your kids off love.

Kinda makes me afraid she'll be like BD's mom was.
She used to beat the smurf out of him with a bible and kick him with heels on and smurf when he was a kid and would smurf up  
Any time he "sinned" by disobeying her, he either got screamed at while she was an inch away, or she'd literally beat the living hell out of him.

But, y'know, she's the most Christian lady around and what she did was a-ok because God will forgive her.

Then, he grew up to be an abusive drug addict and she's all surprised about it.

That is awful!   Parent's like that make me even more grateful for my parents. I love my mom so much. She instill so much good into me. I remember being in kindergarten walking down the halls with her and the special ed kids going by..she explained to me that they look different but they are still people so we have to treat them so....people in general for that matter. I didn't always follow it but I at least try to. She is an awesome mom!

Though, we did have a Smurf relationship before I got pregnant.
Now we're best friends though
