Gift ideas to honor baby

In May I lost my little girl at 39 weeks. I was so distraught. A parent of one of the children in my preschool class had also lost her baby at 39 weeks the previous October. She helped me get through all summer...did so much for me and was so helpful and supportive. I don't know what I would have done without her at the time. It's coming up on a year since she lost her little boy and I want to do something special to honor him. Losing a baby is something you never get over and with her being so supportive during my loss I want her to know I have never forgotten or ignored her loss as well. Any ideas? I was looking at jewelry...anyone know of a good place for personalized jewelry that would cost me less then 100.00? I would like to get her husband a key chain or something as well...

things remembered is awsome. maybe a mothers ring nothing to exspensive with the babys birthstone or a gardian angel necklace?
it's very sweet of you doing this my mom lost 2 boys both at 7mnths & i got a tattoo in their honor but of course that was my brothers

I'm so glad that she could be there for you in your loss. I'm sure it was cathartic for her as well to have someone who could understand her pain, pain that you'd never want another person to experience.

I think you could find a really cool piece of mother jewelry on etsy. I have found so many neat things there related to moms/kids.

Thanks! I have been looking online and totally forgot about that place and we actually have it at our mall. I will go check it out tomorrow

Yes, it WAS so good that she was there. It was so helpful to know someone else who knew my pain. I think it was good for both of us.
What is etsy? I think I have heard of it, but not quite sure...

etsy is a website. individual people making things and selling. I mean, there's more to it than that, but basically people selling things that they craft. check it out!
