question about breastfeeding...

I know you prolly hear soo many of these but
my daughter is 4 weeks old

& I could breastfeed @ the hospital but only one breast
{I have inverted nipples but my right one comes out more the left}
& @ one week i went back to the hospital & got nipple shields & breast shells
the nipple worked for awhile but my daughter got frustrated
& I got disscouraged.....& went to formula

I still leak like crazy just like when I was pregnant
Im wondering if I can start breastfeeding again? or pumping?
cuz I know it;s soo much better for her & I feel guilty...

if ur leakin then u still got milk! yesterday i went to a breast pump specialist and she gave me a electric breast pump and i just pump as much as i can and give my daughter the milk.. * my nipples dont get hard lol so she cant stay latched on*

Medela has sheilds for inverted nipples. You might want to check that out.

If she will still latch, you can still feed.
You could also pump and give it to her in a bottle if she wont latch. i did that for a long time before i couldnt pump anymore. I have milk still, i just cant get it out with a pump now.

if u haev wic u can get a free one! thats what i did.. i get to use it for two months plus they gave me a free hand pump

I got the Swing not too long ago and I really like it better than then the manual pump.
