Help!

posted 28th Sep
I'm filling out a report for Ness and my mom isn't answering her damn phone   And I want to be sure I get everything right on it.
BTW, Ness has downs syndrome for those of you who don't know.

The question I need help with is:
Does the child's illness, injury, or condition seriously limit his/her daily activities?

And i'm not sure how to answer because she is only two months old...and I don't know if in the future this could be a yes, or what. Would down syndrome seriously limit her daily activities? I don't know if I can answer based on experience yet because she is only two months old....so confused!

Does she roll over or interact with you? I've never seen a baby with ds only 3-6 yr olds.

She looks at us when we talk to her, sometimes she just does her own thing and looks around. She's not rolling over yet. But she seems to be doing the same things as our older daughter did when she was a baby, it is just taking her a little longer. But I don't know if that would be considered seriously limiting her daily activity? The seriously part is what has me really questioning this lol. So I want to be absolutely sure I have this right!

I dont remember when babies typically roll over. If she is in the normal age range and can't yet I would say that's limiting her.

I think at this point if there is a place to put not available at this point would be best. We had to fill out paper work for one of my daughters and she has autism. It wanted to know if she would be able to do things on her own. Doc said she may and she may not the older she gets. So we put that down. Its all we could do. Right now she has her delays, but she has also made great progress in a short time that we didn't know would happen.

We were told to put down yes for now, because we couldn't put down we don't know on the online report, because we were told that the DS could hinder her hitting milestones around the same time as other babies so that could be limiting her daily activities. Thanks everyone for your answers!
