I love all the people who are voting for Obama, but hated Bush.

You guys realize that Obama has done pretty much everything the same as Bush? Except adding an extra few trillion to you and your children's debt.

I wish we could get Clinton back, for real. In 8 years our debt raised a whole trillion. I know not good either, but smurf, a lot better than doubling it. Bush did a nice job destroying our debt by doubling it, then Obama came and it was like follow the leader.

Both sides are the same. They pretend to be different on social issues so that people think they are getting a choice.

The last awesome president we had was Eisenhower. Reagan is a close second from the last one hundred years.

If we had a Magic 8 ball sitting in the oval office making all the decisions, it would come in first.

You are DELUSIONAL to think Clinton was a good president. Newt Gingrich was the brains behind Clinton's administration...and he's very fiscally conservative, overall.

Fannie and Freddie were absolutely set up to fail in the 90's...by the Clinton administration.

If I send you some links, would you read them? They'll have you feeling differently about Clinton.

EDIT: "delusional " is harsh and I don't mean to put you on the defensive, here. However, I do think you are misinformed and would be happy to share good information with you.

I have to agree 100% on this, hands down. I've had this same conversation with several people.

My personal favorite is when people think Clinton had a budget surplus.

I really am not the least bit political. I try to read the stuff and don't have a clue in the world what's going on, but I do know that Obama and Romney are both horrible choices. The idea of Romney being president actually SCARES me, which has never happened before, but I have a pretty good feeling he'll end up getting it

The national debt was somewhere around 4 and a half trillion when he entered into office, and 8 years later it was just over 5 and a half trillion. Bush went from that and took it all the way to 10 and a half. Then Obama has taken that 10 and a half and turned it into almost 16. However, Clinton did have major pitfalls. On debt, he kept our spending lower than the past 12 years. Even Bush before him was a steady increase of half a trillion a year, or so. Eisenhower was great for us, IMO. Really, all of them between Eisenhower and Carter were great years, wish I could have been born 30 years earlier, haha.
