Were any of you originally Ron Paul supporters? I supported him in the primary, but am starting to realize it is best to vote for Johnson. It just pains me, because I truly believe in Ron Paul.

Yup. And I feel a tad bit like a traitor to Dr. Paul, but he's not on the ballot. As much as I want him to be, he's not. So I am voting for Gary Johnson since he will be, therefore he'd end up with more votes than Dr. Paul, if that makes sense. I am interested in seeing what the future holds for the Paul family though

I don't follow politics, but my husband does. He is an illegal immigrant and is my rock...I hear Romney plans to deport all immigrants and do something to close Planned Parenthoods? No thanks.

That's exactly why I'm considering voting for Johnson.

And yes, I'm very interested to see what happens...although we need to make changes NOW...I don't see it happening.

Research the other options, too. Don't feel boxed in.

There will have to be a huge wake up call. It's sad because for example with Dr. Paul, most conservatives I know wouldn't vote for him in the primaries because he wasn't too extreme in his political beliefs as far as things like gay marriage and abortion. Personally he does not agree with either, however, politically he believes the federal government should stay the hell out of it. They don't want that, they want someone who will attempt to stop it on a federal level, someone who intertwines their personal beliefs with their political to the extreme. Silly conservatives. I bet he could have had a shot against Obama. In fact, I'd bet good money if he had of won the primaries, he would have won. If not it would have been pretty damn close to winning.

I think conservatives are insane for not backing him. I'm an ex-GOP'er. I'm very conservative, it is laughable that they are calling Romney a conservative.

From the conservatives I know, they don't because of his political opinions vs his personal. They say he isn't "true" to who he is   Which is baloney, he is pretty much the only politician who doesn't bullsmurf different bullsmurf for certain audiences. It's the same thing all of the time, no matter who you are, no matter if he thinks you want to hear it. He also is pretty good about separating his personal beliefs from political. Most conservatives I know are also Christian though, so keeping "Christian" values and forcing beliefs upon a country is their primary concern.

Romney, because Obama is a dismal failure. If this election wasn't so important (some are more than others), I would vote third party...because they have it almost exactly right. However, I think Obama is stomping on Christians and I fear for my religious freedom. Romney guarantees religious freedom to me.

I admit, Romney is a RINO.

I'm concentrating on the house and senate elections, along with looking at the Supreme court, their life terms (which is BOGUS) and the profound impact the wrong appointees will have on this country.

Lots at stake, here.

Thing is though, Romney will threaten all religious freedom. Or lack there of religion freedom. He wants our country run by his religious views, which it can't, you can't force a nation that was first sought after for the purpose to worship how one wants to and not told how to believe, to follow one particular religion. He protects conservative Christian's freedom of religion, sure, if you want to call it that.

I had an equal 89% for Paul and Johsnon   and like 10% for the others   Maybe not THAT low, but it was fairly low compared.
