This kid is driving me bonkers.

She's usually a big ol' sweetie. Very helpful, always happy.....sure she can be a pain in the ass, but about 95% of the time she's awesome. She listens, she'll get me to play with her.....



But for the past 3 days, she's been a total ass. Or maybe I'm not use to her being this way? But she she's been telling us no. Which is weird. She usually cleans up her messes when we ask her too....she'll cross her arms, give mass attitude, when something doesn't go her way she yells and sometimes cries. It's smurfing frustrating.

She's almost 3...so maybe it's terrible 2's coming in? Or her growth spurt...I don't know....but it's making me rip me hair out

That happened with my daughter a couple weeks before she turned 3 in June... she still has the same attitude. Luckily, it hasn't gotten any worse.

She's either a total sweetheart, or miss attitude.

And poor Carter takes the brunt of it.
Like, something--anything, will piss her off-- and she runs to find carter, and smacks him  

She tells me no. Or looks at me in the eye when i tell her to do something tells me to "stay" and then runs away  

I pretty much just ignore the attitude,
let her blow off steam, and then she'll be in nice-clara mode again & do what she's asked.

What do you do when she tells you "no" though? How do you handle that one?

I tell her she doesn't get to tell me no.
She gives me a pissy look then does what i said all stompy and pissed off.
