pretty easy to do. I'm not artsy craftsy and used them to make a pair of shirts and they came out great. Just read the directions on the paper if your'e using that or the package, it may tell you how high of a heat setting.

I've never done them, but my little sister made baby a t-shirt with iron-ons and it came out backwards! LOL! It wouldn't be so bad but it is a quote and a picture of the Cat in the Hat. hahaha

Depends on what kind you're talking about. I used to buy little patches when I waslike 10 and put them on my jeans myself. Easy peasy

It says "Iron on transfer" it's wording with a little design.

Then pretty easy just make sure it's perfectly centered! Fold the shirt in half the long way and make a mark on the fold, then lay it flat. The mark is where the middle is.

Yeah it was totally cute of her to make it. She's not very crafty lol. I think she printed them out on her computer though? I'm not sure how that works. I'd love to see some ideas! It sounds like fun.

that would've been helpful earlier lol I tried the shirt on and used pins to mark the center oops!

ETA: used my computer and printer to make these:

mine's not fancy by any means. it's a cheapie inkjet from walmart I think I paid 69 for it. I got the transfer sheets they sell, and just had to make sure to slightly roll the end when I stuck it in the paper feed (top kind) so it didn't jam. It did once, but there's 5 sheets to a pack so I was still ok if I messed up. Which I did. I scraped the transfer a little so had to redo it but used the same page I screwed up on bc there was plenty left to use. You could try it with like a onesie or a t-shirt for a kid and see how you like it. I wanna make my mom a sweatshirt now with the girls' pics on it   Oh and it holds up well in the wash!
