How to tell a guy you love him

Plain & simple:

I am in love with one of my bestfriends.

His name is Miguel, I've known him for about 3 years (or more) and we go to the same english institute to get our exams. I have been in love with him for quite a while (half a year or more!) but never really had courage to let him know. The bad part is that our institute ends up on 20th october so after that, I won't have any real excuse to be with him no matter what. I want to let it out of my chest but I'm afraid he says he doesn't like me in that way (things between us would turn really awkward lol). I love him a LOT and sometimes it does seem like he loves me back, too. But I don't know, it's confusing.

TIPS please

Ask him out on a date.

Yeah. If you're nervous just ask him if he'd like to meet up for lunch/coffee/dinner/drinks/movie.... whatever you think you two would like to do together.

get the number! hang out, find out if he's seeing anyone, and ask if he has a crush or something like that. Then when you're hanging out make lots of eye contact and flirt flirt flirt!! Maybe you'll get lucky and land a kiss

Im kind of different... Tony and I were best friends but slept together before we dated. Finally one day I told him that I was absolutely in love with him and couldn't do it anymore. I wanted a chance, I thought we could be together. We went to a rave as friends and I blurted it out then... we were drunk and I said "I can't do it, I need more, I absolutely love the hell out of you in a way no one can compare."

We have had our hiccups (especially lately) but we have been together 5 years. I think you SHOULD marry your best friend... I told Tony if we ever broke up I couldn't ever be with anyone. I think it's silly to date/be close to someone that isn't your best friend. So I say go for it... just tell him what you feel and hopefully he feels the same

Take it very slow. Just don't right away tell him you are in love with him but don't be afraid to ask him out on a date. He might be interested in you too but there is only one way to find out.
