Stripping membrane

I'm 39 weeks and 4 days went to the doctor today and I'm 1cm dilated and she stripped my membrane I hope he comes soon I'm so ready!! How have any of your stripping the membrane turned out!?!?

I went into labour that night

but I was almost 2 weeks over

i had a membrane sweep at 40 weeks 1 day. went into labor 2 days later on a wednesday(with terrible contractions 1.5-2 minutes apart) and my son was born saturday afternoon naturally lol bit of a rough go, hope it works out better for you!
