girls who have had Mirena removed!

I got my IUD, the Mirena product, in two years ago.

I have wanted it out for numerous reasons since then, but I'm extremely freaked out, I'm so nervous I've avoided even having the thing looked at, haven't had a PAP done since it got put in, because I'm sure something is wrong with it and I'm scared it will hurt to get it out especially since it has been there for so long...



anyone else had mirena removed after a long period of time?

i had mine for 2 1/2 years, had it removed didnt feel a thing.

I had it removed after having it for just over two years. It wasn't painful at all in fact I felt relief after getting it removed. Best decision ever!

I had mine in for 3 years. Had irlt removed didnt feel a thing. I was so relieved actually.

Ive had mine for over three years now and I want it OUT so bad. I lost my insurance the day after I had put in so I've never had it looked at,  

Once DH and I get our divorce finalized, I can get on my perents insurance, since I'm not over 26 and I had to move back in with them when I left.

I cannot wait.

I went to planned parenthood and if you dont make a.certain amount of money you can get it removed for free. And a years prescription of the pill or whatever else you want for BC.

Definitely helped ladies, I have an appointment I was just terribly nervous.
That's unfortunate about the insurance ! I have never had it looked at.
It causes me a lot of pain, so I really look forward to getting it removed.

With the impending divorce and eveything, I just got aproved for state benifits, like lonestar and DS has medicade, cause I don't make enough money by myself.

Just talked to PP and they remove the IUD for $53.
Thats it.

WTF, I waited for so long and I could have gotten rid of it months and months ago.

Then $65 for the app to get the right pill (I am dying for something without hormones).

Ugh, I am so excited!

  I live in Canada, I have no clue how insurance works ! Sounds like a pain, hope all works out!
