My daughter got a bunny one and she loves it.

I think its irresponsible you knew nothing about Betta and got one. I don't think that is her fault. my daughter would feed ours a million times a day if i let her.

If you get another pet please research how to care for them PROPERLY and maybe have her do "research" with you.. library for books, internet google with her whatever.

I wouldn't leave any animal alone with her that she could hurt.... like the g. pig...

Sorry I didn't sit here for HOURS researching how to care for a BETTA FISH smh i have other things to do during my day. Not to mention when i bought the food THAT CLEARLY SAYS BETTA FISH FOOD it says feed several times daily enough for the fish to consume in 3 minutes !! When I finally asked the guy at Petco he said just ONCE a day one little nugget or two nuggets every other day!!!

I legit looked at her like this ... 0_0 .... for 10 solid minutes when she told me she picked it up with her hand and walked it to the bathroom. I could NEVER touch a slimy fish bare handed!! creeped the smurf out !!

I mean I did a time out I told her I was upset and that what she did was NOT okay. I told her she will not be getting another fish so do NOT ask for one. And that was that. I mean there is not much you can do at 730 in the morning when you're running out the door for school .

I guess I am just strange and research things before I get it... Esp an animal or just a FISH! So I know how to properlyy take care of it.

I did however work at Petsmart for 5 years..... I know it was JUST a fish but still. People get pets and don't have a damn clue how to care for it and they always come back DEAD and its SAD.
