can't you get a tank with a lid and put the food out of her reach? Bettas will jump out of their tank too if not covered.

Well that's what I told her she will never have another fish in her life. What a waste of money a fish is!!! I realize it does nothing which is why I thought it would be an easy pet. But she found a way to complicate things i guess hahaha

Yeah the tank had a cover - and i had the fish food in my purse to make sure she couldn't feed it behind anyones back - i thought i did it the smart way this time & yet my 4 year old out smarted me lol

That's what I am going to do at this point. & we aren't sure if the cat had taken part in two deaths lol but we are sure about one.

I told my mom it wasn't a good idea since she is getting a sister anyway in a month and that to me is enough of a PET lmao i told her she can have fun helping me take care of her sister instead of getting anything else that needs to be fed etc.

fish are super boring lol and i got that u were being sarcastic lol i personally hate the little pets, i have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and my daughter who is 9 months old loves them all. She harasses the cats and our female one tolerates it for the most part, but the male cat just leaves when she get close enough to reach him. Dogs are great as long as they are the small yappy ones, i have 2 big dogs and they adore her! they helped her learn to stand up and walk with support!!!!

Think about Finding Nemo and little Darla(she kills all the fishes she gets) its just age and fish are more delicate than other pets!

in my opinion i said the tank had a lid and i did put it out of her reach my mother (as i said) put it in her room when i wasn't there =/ when I was there (for the entire 4-5 hours before she was in my mothers care and the death happened) i was sitting next to the fish and supervising everything i put in on the counter out of her reach and could see when she went near it.

but OMG that is too freaking funny that you mentioned Darla lmao because thats exactly what i said and if you saw my daughter she almost looks like her hahahahaa & i said to my mom as she was leaving that its almost like we are just supporting her habit of killing fish. Even though she keeps killing them we keep supplying her with her next victim hahahaa

and she really does - my mom is always joking about analyzing everything Jennah does like her paintings and such like if she uses a lot of red my mom makes a joke about that being a DARK PLACE lmao its just funny to me.
