Depends on what he did and how old the child is.

Yeah no.. my child wouldn't be going to a prison/jail at all.
Now if she was like 10- and she had the mental capacity to understand what was going on- then MAYBE I'd take her.

That environment is too much for a 3-4yrs old.

my husband is an officer. you dont need to exactly worry about the child's father, but more so what the child will be subjected to when there. inmates are dangerous sometimes and things can go bad quick which could leave your child scared. maybe traumatize the child bc now dad has to stay there.
