Oh my goodness!

Part of me can't believe this is happening and the other part of me say's duh!! I've been single for over a year now but recently I have been talking to a guy I used to date long ago. We get along so great and the few times my son and him have seen each other they've interacted great! I'm so nervous/excited/scared/happy! Me and this guy have always hit it off so well. I'm just so nervous about things turning out weird or bad. Should i even get with an "ex "boyfriend? I hope this isn't too good to be true.

I wouldn't introduce my kid into a new relationship like that either way personally.

I would give it more time before you let him get super involved in DS's life. It would be really tough if your lo got attached to him and if things don't work out. KWIM.
But I guess it all depends on why he's your ex in the first place. Did it end badly? Is there a lot of history?

Yeah. After thinking about it I want to take it much slower. It's nice to know DS can get used to new faces and it's nice to know potential love interests can be good with my son. I wouldn't want my little one to confused or hurt in the process. It's a long story as to why we broke up, but we were teenagers when we dated so neither of us are really concerned about it at this point. But i did tell him it's a little too much too fast.
