I'm in Waterloo! I don't know were stirling/greenbrook area is but I think I sorta know were bridgeport is... I've only been here since February.

It's a drugstore. You could always check online too. I had a girlfriend that drank and breastfed and kinda followed the rules but it was pushing it in my opinion. I was VERY careful if I ever drank. Well, she found out about those and was shocked so it helped her to figure it out. I was too conservative about how I was doing it and ended up throwing away a lot of breast milk that I didn't need to. Pump and dump in a myth. I nursed my baby and then drank a margarita. His next feed I gave him a bottle and wasn't uncomfortable so I didn't pump. About five hours later after the drink I expressed a tiny bit and tested it. To my shock the milk was fine. If you don't call for the milk and just leave it in there it stays good. It has more to do with your alcohol content when you call for the milk. Totally different from what I thought since the milk was filling while I drank. make sense?

I asked the pediatrician. sober enough to drive sober enough to breastfeed. If I have 1 drink I dont worry about it. if i have 2 I may wait 2 hrs before I feed her. It depends on how comfortable you feel. I pump and use some formula some so I usually will use that when I have a couple of drinks. (wine or beer is all I had since she has been born) I drink guiness 1 beer at times to help with my supply.
