my midwife gave me the O.K. to start having sex again only 3.5 weeks PP
she said it's okay once you stop bleeding :/

I thought you were supposed to wait 6 weeks no matter what?

if your cervix is closed you are done bleeding and the uterus is back to where it should be then sure. It doesnt take everyone 6 weeks to recover.

I've heard of others being given the "green light" early. Whatever you do, simply wait until you're comfortable. If you want to continue to wait, wait! There truly is no rush.

I always had sex once my bleeding stopped. Was never told I was in the wrong and I am completely honest with my drs.

Did she give you an internal exam? Generally, yes it is safer to wait 6 weeks to resume all regular activities.

okay thanks. I guess it freaks me out a little because if something could go wrong it goes wrong for me lately haha.. I don't want to like start hemorrhaging or getting an infection or something.

If you dont feel comfortable then dont do it. Without an internal it would be best to wait because your cervix could still be open.
