placenta encapsulation?

My midwife recommended that I get it done after I give birth. She says it can help me after lo is born.

I'm bipolar, so I already struggle with anxiety and depression.

Has anyone done this before?

No but I wanted to so badly! It can help with depression, anxiety, weight loss, replacing the nutrients lost after birth and so much more! You should do it for sure!

i want to! i've read good things about it. i go to an OB, not a midwife though... there's a midwife there so i asked her and she said "we don't talk about that..." but one of their patients did take it home with her, they just said they were going to plant it.

You can send your placenta out to a company that dries it and puts it in capsules.

i hear ya. i go see my psychiatrist in like 3 weeks and we were gonna talk about going back on. i feel amazing now, i'm so scared what it will be like when the baby's here. i don't remember a time i was this happy.

I got 212 pills - she said that I had the biggest placenta she had seen in 3 years of doing it.

I took 2 a day, 1 wasn't enough. I stopped taking them after a month and I am going to save the rest for when I go back to work. They give me an over supply of milk and I don't want to deal with that right now - but i will need it then.

I felt amazing on them. If I didn't get an over supply, I'd still be taking them right now.

I'm doing my own. It can't hurt anything, so I figured what the hell.
