The name goes great and I love how you let your son pick it out. I remember my mom let myself and my siblings pick out the name for our first cat, Casper. I wish I could have a dog but SO is very allergic, so we'll have to stick with cats.

Lol He wanted to name him skeleton at first. luckily he changed his mind. I would be so sad if DH was allergic. I love animals.

lol, it would have gone well with Halloween coming up now.  
I love animals too, especially dogs but now that we've had our one cat for almost a year and a half, I love her, she has turned me into a cat person.
