Possibly going to be induced

Went to the the doctors today and she told me if I dont have a baby by the I go in next Thursday they're going to talk about inducing me.. Kinda nervous cuz I wanted to do it naturally and I heard being induced is really really painful.

You can always refuse induction if you don't have a medical problem.

I was induced and I didnt think it was painful..... I mean, you're having a baby so its going to hurt, but I dont think the pain would have been any less if I wouldnt have gotten induced

Induction is different for everyone. Are you dilated at all?

You would probably still be looking at pitocin at 1cm. I was 5cm for my "induction" and all they had to do was break my water. 1.5hours later she was born.

pitocnin is evil. If theres no medical need..i would wait it out. your baby will come

I would wait! WIth my first i went natural and didnt even need the epidural with my second i had to be induced and it was a lot more painful then my first and i had to get the epidural.

it wasnt bad at all being induced. my only issue was the pressure.it'll be okay, i promise. hurry up and have her already!!! lol

I heared it was more painful also. My doctor told me if i dont go into labor by tuesday he will start my labor tuesday evening. im so exicted but scared at the same time lol.
