Goodbye Ike :(

I am so horribly sad. Yesterday my ex bil and sil found out that their dog (that they have had for like 8 years or so) is dying from liver cancer. They are on their way now to have him put down. I'm trying so hard not to cry, but I just can't help it. And their 5 kids and them are so horribly upset too. He was the best dog I have ever met. So protective and good with his family. It is so sad to see that his life is now at an end. RIP Ike..you will be greatly missed

It truly is..I saw them sitting outside yesterday with Ike and I wanted to stop and at least say bye, but I couldn't do it..I saw how they were crying and just couldn't handle it.

My dog is family and he's getting older now and I can't even imagine him not being around. How absolutely heartbreaking for everyone.

He was very sweet! And the best guard dog...whenever they took him anywhere with the kids he would constantly watch them and never take his eyes off of the kids when other people were around. If the kids trying going too far apart from each other he would run in a circle around them and like round them up Lol..he was perfect.
