Toys R Us is launching one of their own, and I believe they just started selling another one that is a TRU exclusive. They have wifi and parental controls and stuff - but, i believe they are in the $150 range.

yeah but i just dont see spending over 100 bucks on something im not sure they will fully responsible for, my kids are extremely good kids and very responsible for their own things, but they are kids lol. i saw a few for about 60 bucks with ok reviews but i dont want to buy something that will only break down as soon as they get them.

they have some pretty cheap ones on the toys r us website. However, i suggest that you don't get a sylvania tablet. I have had so many of those returned, i honestly think it was probably the most returned electronic (for all different reasons).

DD has a Kindle Fire. She will be 4 in Dec. It works great, was around 150.00 bucks and the warranty was around 20. The warranty covers everything

Just as long as you are aware that often times, cheap electronics aren't always the best way to go just because they are cheap. Tablets are still a pretty new thing, so they are still pretty pricey for a decent one. 150 is a great price for one. I wouldn't trust one for 60 unless it was incredibly well reviewed.

"you get what you pay for" - exactly.

also, OP maybe look into refurbished ones as well... they often still have a warranty on them.

Fine, lol I don't care what you spend your money on for your family, I was only trying to give you a heads up so you don't waste your money.
I'd recommend looking into used or refurbished then.

but buying a cheap smurffy tablet that's going to last two months and/or you're going to need to get repaired is just going to cost you more in the long run.
