No. They take into account EVERYONE you live with. Before they approve or deny it.

I don't know where you are...but not in Texas. There's still a timeframe for pregnancy medicaid and age has no effect on it.

They should approve your medical due to the fact you are pregnant not just because you are a minor..

Nope, they still have to look over your case, because your underage, if your living with a guardian they have to take your guardians information into account before they can approve you. And the application can take up to 45 days.

I hate Texas Medicaid. Took 7 months to get it when I was pregnant with my oldest. I am moving back and have to apply again. Maybe I will get seen before I deliver. Lol

This. PA approves you immediately if your pregnant with no insurance and can't get it elsewhere.

Yep so does California.. Same goes for kids. They immediately get approved for medical as well..

i was saying cause im 7months and i havent gotten my medicaid approved ! but the lady said it would only take 10 days . but anything can happen in 45 days though ...

Yeah I got screwed both times :-( this time I am already considered high risk as need it ASAP so hopefully it happens on time

Damn I got mine approved in about 6 weeks..
