If you aren't happy together, then you'll be raising your child in an unhappy home. If he treats you like smurf, you won't be together forever so spare your child the breakup, and figure that smurf out before she's born.

If you and your so don't get along, I'm assuming you fight a lot and that's not good for your baby. It's better for the baby to be in a happy home, not one that's tense.

I'm in a tough situation though, because I'm living with him & my family doesn't give two smurfs about me, so I'll have no where to go...

A child can't and won't keep a relationship together. If he treats you bad now, it's not going to change when she pops out.

Look into the states services. Get a job to get on your feet. You have to be a big girl now and find a way to support the child yourself if you and the father aren't on good terms. I'm not trying to sound bitchy, but its the cold hard truth.

I'm just hoping he does change, but if he doesn't then I'll leave him for good. My baby girl deserves a happy life even if it's just with me

I'm pretty sure nothing will change with the stress of an infant... lol. I'm not a future teller, but that's pretty realistic.

That is the absolute worst reason to stay together! It ends up hurting the child far worse than coming from a broken home!

Im basically in the same postion as you. Im 18, pregnant (having a little girl), living with my boyfriend, and we dont ALWAYS get along. We somehow manage though. I know how hard, stressful, and frustrating it can be. Its not always easy to just 'Deal with it'. And getting on your feet and leaving is definitely not easy. Trying to make it work always seems like the best thing to do. and its not the worst thing. Because everything will get worst before it gets better. It took me 4 months through my pregnancy until i actually found a job. and now 3 months later im trying to get my own place. so i know nothings gonna come as easy as everyone tries to make you think. just think about your little girl and yourself. Thats all that matters now. If nothing gets better yet, your not really losing anything. But you have to try. Just be positive and everything will all work out great =)
